Your First Visit

Your visit begins with a warm welcome from our front-of-house team, who will check you in and help you feel at ease. If it’s your first appointment, we’ll ask you to complete a brief medical and dental history form so we can understand your needs.

You’ll then have a moment to relax in our reception area before your clinician comes to meet you and guide you to the treatment room. This is your chance to share any concerns or goals, ensuring we tailor the appointment to you.

Your clinician will carry out a thorough dental assessment, which may include X-rays or scans if needed. We explain everything clearly as we go, so you always feel informed and comfortable.

Once the examination is complete, we’ll talk you through the findings and create a personalised treatment plan that suits your needs and long-term oral health goals.

Before you leave, our reception team will help you book any follow-up appointments and answer any questions about your treatment or next steps. You’ll head out feeling confident, informed, and supported from start to finish.

Private Patients

Your new patient appointment includes a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues, along with a check for signs of oral cancer.

X-rays are taken if clinically necessary, such as bitewing X-rays to detect hidden issues like decay between teeth. These investigative X-rays are included in the cost of your examination, along with a thorough scale and polish to remove plaque and tartar, leaving your teeth clean and healthy.

During your consultation, we give you time to discuss any concerns or questions about your dental health. Following the examination, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs, including clear information on options and costs.

Whatever treatment you require, our friendly team ensures your experience is as comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free as possible.

NHS Patient Information

Your first appointment as an NHS patient is an NHS Patient Examination. During this visit, you’ll complete a Medical History Form, and, if clinically necessary, an X-ray will be taken. A thorough dental examination will then assess the health of your teeth, gums, and mouth.

We take the time to get to know you, discuss any concerns or preferences regarding your smile, and identify any treatments you may need — whether that’s minor adjustments, major improvements, or simply ongoing care to maintain a healthy smile.

To make visits easier for families, we offer consecutive family appointments. Please let our reception team know if you would like to book this option.

Appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time, but availability may be limited.

To maintain your NHS registration with our practice, it is important to attend regular check-ups. If you have not been seen by a dentist at our practice for 24 months or more, your next visit will need to be scheduled as a private appointment.
